Drama of the week was mum's accident. She really hurt herself seriously last Thursday: her car rolled and she used her body to try and stop it- the car ended up crashing into someone's house. Poor mum, I wanted her to go to hospital but she soldiered on... Posted by Hello

Museum of Brisbane has this fabulous Brisbane Buddhas exhibition at the moment- it's so wonderful: a collection of 1000 Buddhas lent for the exhibition from people around Brisbane. Posted by Hello

My latest work, sculpting with a life model I created this beautiful girl last week, she's so soft and serene. I love it. Posted by Hello

Artist of the week

My choice for artist of the week is Tom Moore, glass artist with cartoonish funny characters and animals sculpted in glass. His work is exhibited in Adelaide's Jam Factory. I'd love to include an image of his work but I can't find photos of his funny recent work; try this linkto see some of his older work http://jamfactory.org.au/glass.php?section=03&X=1
It's Mothers Day today and I'm the luckiest mum in the Universe. Lucy is not only the most wonderful daughter but also the most generous. Lucy made me cards, drawings, a clay dragon, flowers, I feel so loved.
We went to see the remake of "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" at the cinema yesterday, for the 2nd time. The new Zaphod is great and Marvin the chronically depressed robot is brilliant. I've figured out how to get my links working so if you look in the side bar you'll find many links to different coordinates in cyberspace.

Amazing acrobatics and martial art displays @ this year's Buddha Birthday Festival. Watching the guy scale that bamboo pole and then dance in the lion costume on top of the pole was breathtaking. Posted by Hello
