I enjoy doing pottery once a week with my friends at Lota. I love building little animals especially, seals, owls, chooks, cats, etc. White stoneware clay is my favourite because its almost soft to touch, smooth and looks beautiful glazed or unglazed. Some of these animals will go to market in time for Christmas.

Tiger illustration

It's funny: I'm studying Multimedia, new technology, but it's still great to get back to basics when paper and pencil and do some good old fashioned drawing. Animals are my favourite subject matter. I like capturing their spirit.
